LES VOILES
Les Voiles de Saint-Tropez, il più grande spettacolo in mare, quest’anno, si svolgerà da sabato 26 settembre a venerdì 9 ottobre, con un nuovo format che prevede per gli yacht a vela, classici e moderni, tra i più belli al mondo, di regatare per due settimane.
Les Voiles, è un evento unico di cui Circle Dynamic Luxury Magazine è media partner ufficiale da tre edizioni. «Riunisce nel molo di Saint-Tropez i performanti yacht in carbonio, dotati delle tecnologie più innovative e sostenibili, come i Wally Yachts, e i più straordinari velieri classici, molti dei quali hanno compiuto i cento anni, che risalgono all’epoca d’oro della nautica da diporto», afferma Pierre Roinson, eletto nuovo presidente della Société Nautique de Saint-Tropez.
Il programma impostato su due settimane, si differenzia tra le diverse categorie di yacht a vela, con l’obiettivo di organizzare le regate e le zone di partenza, che si svolgeranno tutte nel Golfo di Saint-Tropez; le regate vengono pianificate in base alle dimensioni degli yacht.
“La buona notizia è che i partecipanti ci sono, vogliamo assolutamente salvare lo spirito di challenge e il sapore lifestyle della manifestazione che, per decenni, lo haNNO reso unico al mondo: emozionanti regate in acqua, serate glamour ed eventi sorprendenti a terra dedicati agli armatori e al pubblico internazionale», assicura Tony Oller, direttore generale.
Tra gli anniversari, nella prima settimana, ci sarà la celebrazione dei novant’anni di Emilia Prima, uno sloop bermudiano disegnato da Attilio Costaguta, Hygie, un ketch di Daniel Severi, e Jour de Fête, la famosa Classe Q di Franck Cabot Paine e William Starling Burgess. Lo yacht Thistle, costruito nel 1887, spegnerà 130 candeline e farà la sua prima apparizione alle Voiles nella categoria ospiti.

This year, Les Voiles de Saint-Tropez, the greatest sea show, will be held from Saturday 26 September to Friday 9 October, with a new format according to which the classic and modern sailing yachts – among the most beautiful in the world – will sail for two weeks.
Les Voiles is a unique and very suggestive event, of which Circle Dynamic Luxury Magazine has been the official media partner since three editions. «It gathers at the pier of Saint-Tropez the high-performance carbon yachts, equipped with the most innovative and sustainable technologies, such as the Wally Yachts and the most amazing classic sailing ships, many of which are 100 years old and date back to the golden age of boating», explains Pierre Roinson, elected as new president of the Société Nautique de Saint-Tropez.
The two-week programme stands out among the different categories of sailing yachts, with the aim to organise the regattas and the departure areas, which will all take place in the Gulf of Saint-Tropez; the regattas are planned according to the yacht dimensions. «The good news is that the participants are not missing. We want to absolutely save the challenge spirit and the lifestyle atmosphere of the event which, over decades, made it unique in the world: exciting water regattas, glamorous nights and amazing onshore events devoted to international enthusiasts and audience», states Tony Oller, general manager.
Among the anniversaries, in the first week there will be the celebration for the ninety years of Emilia Prima, a Bermuda sloop designed by Attilio Costaguta, Hygie, a ketch of Daniel Severi and Jour de Fête, the famous Classe Q of Frank Cabot Paine and William Starling Burgess. The yacht Thistle, built in 1887, will celebrate its 130th birthday and will take part in Les Voiles for the first time in the guest category.
